Alumni Weekend 2015 photos
Alumni Weekend is an opportunity for College of Medicine alumni to return to Gainesville and reconnect with their classmates! The events included in Alumni Weekend are:
Enjoy a question-and-answer session with a panel of current students to catch up on what’s going on at the medical school today.
Notable Alumnus Lecture
The topic may change from year to year, but the lecturer is always a fellow Gator. This lecture often doubles as a CME opportunity.
Each year at least one tour is offered as part of Alumni Weekend. From tours of the campus to tours of new buildings and institutions, this option gives returning alumni a chance to see what’s new at UF.
Alumni celebrating a milestone reunion are encouraged to attend a cocktail hour and seated dinner with their classmates. Alumni often describe this event as one of the most memorable parts of Alumni Weekend.
This recent addition to the Alumni Weekend lineup offers an opportunity for alumni and current students to connect and discuss anything from the reality of running a medical practice to current experiences of medical students.
This classic event encourages the whole family to enjoy a day of orange-and-blue fun before the game! This kid-friendly event offers a relaxing atmosphere for alumni and their families.
Breakfast with the Deans
Before leaving Gainesville, alumni can enjoy a breakfast with the Dean and Associate Deans of the medical school. This breakfast is a great way to wrap up a weekend of reunion activities.
