Reunion Giving

Your Legacy | Their Future

Our alumni are our most treasured asset at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and our success is only as strong as your involvement. Class giving is a wonderful way to team up with your fellow alumni to maximize your philanthropy and express appreciation for the education you’ve received at the UF College of Medicine.

School of Physician Assistant Studies

All celebrating PA Classes of 1983-2018 are encouraged to support the Wayne D. Bottom Scholarship Fund or PA Stethoscope Fund in honor of their reunion year.

Wayne D. Bottom Scholarship Fund

The fund provides sources of funding to meet the needs of students who might not otherwise make it to our door, but they also reward current students for academic excellence and achievement. Support of this scholarship will impact PA students for generations to come.

Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences

All Ph.D. graduates are encouraged to support the Friends of the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences Fund in honor of their reunion.

Friends of the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences Fund

Support a scholarship known as the Council of Academic Chairs Scholarship for the students who receive admissions to the candidacy award so that they may attend a scientific or educational career development course, such as courses offered at Jacksonville Labs in Main, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory or Woods Hole.

Mavis Agbandje-McKenna, Ph.D. Scholarship Fund

The Mavis Agbandje-McKenna, Ph.D. Scholarship Fund has been established to honor Dr. Agbandje-McKenna and her belief that everyone should pay it forward. The income from this fund will be awarded to aspiring young students in science to help them establish themselves in the field of their passions to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion in the scientific community. Funding will be used, among other things, for travel grants to attend scientific meetings, scholarships to help with educational expenses, awards for outstanding scholarly achievements, and help in preventing financial barriers that hinder success at graduate school.
